WHITE ROSE ART GROUP

The group was set up by Stuart Wilson from his studio in 2006. We meet weekly in the studio to share ideas, thoughts, progression and processes.
Stuart offers mentoring and guidance.

We produce work that is colourful and exciting. Although all our work is pictorial and realistic in manner, there is great emphasis on stretching the painting process and discovering new ways of applying paint. We use images that are both personal and emotive in reflecting our biographical history.

Journeys, experience, relationships and political feelings are all explored.

We all have interesting stories in our lives to tell. There is no age limit or agenda so our demographic background is diverse.This means we are a lively group, willing to discuss, change and diversify our ideas and approach towards our goals.

Working in any media is encouraged.

However most of us work in oils on canvas.
